Slippery Paths
Is your child/student struggling with questions and doubts? Questions that are not easily answered? Using the method of the Bereans of the Early Church, your pre-teen/ teen will be challenged to delve into the Bible to build their faith and develop their own theology. This study is a six week/ five-day study that should take 15 minutes to an hour depending on the individual. Each week has a notes and reflection. Each section builds on the notion that God is real, can be trusted, and can be tested. Students are encouraged to ask difficult questions and test them against Scripture. Moreover, students are taught through online resources listed within the text how to research concepts. Answers are not given in this 45-page document, students must research the answers for themselves.
Vocabulary Maps
Vocabulary Maps assist in building knowledge in low frequency words. The maps build on background knowledge so that the student can easily apply the know word into their preexisting repertoire. In this way the student will retain the word for future reference
